Optimizing The Comfort Bed Experience: Often, I’ve noticed, dog beds lack the firmness at the base.
Given its cost-effective nature, this bed might not be designed for robust support. Given Cow’s size, she might need a bigger one, with Matilda inheriting the current one.
So, I’ve placed this bed atop an older, firmer one for better support.
When it’s bedtime for Cow, I layer her with blankets and used towels. This is akin to the popular weighted blankets that humans use, which provide a reassuring pressure.
I own a weighted blanket and vouch for its comforting quality. It feels like a gentle embrace. Hence, I use additional blankets for Cow, aiming for a similar feel.
Cow appears to relish her plush bed, combined with her blanket layers, creating her own snug nest.
